What should a new client know about working with you?

As a psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, I bring both clinical expertise and cultural understanding to the therapeutic relationship. I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds, and I understand how culture, identity, and life experience shape the way we struggle—and heal. My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, creating an individualized approach for each of my clients. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, or issues related to identity or life transitions, I provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore what’s holding you back and develop meaningful tools for change. I believe healing happens when we feel seen, heard, and respected—without judgment. As a straight male therapist, I also recognize the importance of creating space to explore masculinity, emotional vulnerability, and mental health in ways that feel authentic and empowering. I am especially passionate about supporting clients who may feel caught between cultural expectations and personal growth.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Each session provides a safe, confidential space to talk openly about what’s on your mind, with the therapist offering guidance, insight, and support. Depending on the issues you’re working on, therapy may involve short-term problem-solving or longer-term exploration and healing. The pace and depth of the work are tailored to your comfort and readiness. While therapy can sometimes bring up difficult emotions, it’s ultimately a space for growth, self-awareness, and positive change. Most importantly, it’s a process where you don’t have to go it alone—you have someone walking with you through the journey.
