Lynn's professional tenure includes over 20 years of experience as a Licensed Professional School Counselor and Mental Health Therapist. She believes in supporting clients by teaching healthy coping skills, stress management, forgiveness, and improving cognitions. Lynn has worked extensively with special populations, including incarcerated women, juveniles, children, and individuals struggling with addictions. Her focus has included dual diagnosis, depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, and substance abuse. Lynn completed her undergraduate degree at California State University, Fullerton, in 1993. She earned her Master's in School Counseling from the University of Phoenix in Las Vegas, Nevada. In 2019, she obtained a Certificate in Mental Health Counseling from Freed-Hardeman University. She passed both the National Counseling Exam (NCE) and the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Exam (NCMHCE) and received her LPC license from the State Department of Health Licensure and Regulation in 2024. Originally from Southern California, Lynn has lived in Tennessee since 2004. She has two loving adult children who attended MTSU and currently reside in Middle Tennessee.
