Psychotherapist
TN
I speak fluent clinical jargon and four-letter words, whichever gets the job done. I work with first responders, medical staff, and people in high-stress jobs who are used to carrying more than their share. Therapy with me is honest, human, and built around real-world strategies instead of homework you’ll never do. (Sometimes there's homework.. We'll talk about it. My approach Therapy with me isn’t about lying on a couch while I silently nod and scribble in a notebook. It’s a conversation. I’m human first, therapist second, and that means you’ll get honesty, humor, and yes, cuss words if that’s your style. I’m fluent in both clinical terms and four-letter ones. My approach is straightforward. We’ll look at what’s working, what isn’t, and figure out practical ways to move forward. I’ll challenge you when it’s needed, but always with respect and compassion. You’ll leave sessions with tools you can actually use in the middle of real life, not just thoughts to reflect on. At the end of the day, I believe people do the best they can with what they have. Therapy gives you more to work with. And if we can laugh a little along the way, even better. My focus My clients are the people who are usually the strong ones. The ones everyone else leans on when the world feels like it’s crumbling. You’re the first responder who has seen too many accidents, too many overdoses, too many calls where you did everything right and still left wondering if it was enough. You’re the ER nurse who runs on caffeine and adrenaline, the one who keeps moving even when you’re running on fumes, because someone else’s life depends on it. You’re the corrections officer, the paramedic, the doctor, the firefighter, the dispatcher, the teacher, the soldier. You’re the person who doesn’t get the luxury of “taking a break” from life when things get hard. And yet—you’re still human. I work with people who carry more than their share of the load.
