I am bilingual in Spanish and English. My approach is holistic and radical. I love blending my understanding of Eastern and Western psychology and healing practices. What should a new client know about working with you?

I draw on transpersonal (meditation, visualizing, reflection) psychology, play therapy, yoga, mindfulness, attachment, strength-based, somatics, and TF-CBT. I am excited to support BIPOC, LGBTQAI+, children, and youth healing from dissociation, feeling disconnected, and recovering from childhood and recent traumas. I was inspired to become a provider when I had a Puerto Rican counselor in High School. She supported me in processing stress, trauma, and family dynamics. This allowed me to focus on my schooling. I want to a support person to children, teens, young adults, and caregivers.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I am here to listen deeply, explore their inner world, and hopefully cultivate a corrective experience. Together, we will explore their spiritual self and create meaning in their life. I love to talk, listen, color, walk, sing, dance, pray, meditate, and play. I offer virtual sessions to all of California and in-person sessions in Oakland, California. When we work together, we'll begin with an assessment of you or your child's needs. As we explore your strengths and areas of growth, we will identify belief patterns to develop more self-compassion, self-love, and awareness. This awareness can assist you or your child in strengthening their mental, emotional, and spiritual health as well as your relationship with their caregivers. When appropriate, I will suggest therapeutic exercises that we can explore together and in between sessions.
