CA
Hi there, I'm Maggie! I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor/Psychotherapist and EMDR, trauma-informed therapist. I hold a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I work from a humanistic, client-centered, holistic, and eclectic approach to healing, self-exploration, and growth. I specialize in trauma-informed therapies addressing anxiety, depression, relational trauma/narcissistic abuse, attachment issues, PTSD, complex trauma, and life transitions/stressors. My approach I utilize trauma-informed EMDR, CBT, DBT, ACT, cognitive mindfulness therapy, mindfulness self-compassion, parts work, somatic approaches, trauma-informed yoga, mindfulness meditation, transpersonal psychology, healing from toxic relationships, and building a relationship with self to help clients reach their greatest potential for living a meaningful and fulfilling life. My focus I work with adults experiencing a range of symptoms such as anxiety, depression, relational trauma/narcissistic abuse, attachment challenges, PTSD, complex trauma, various life stressors, family members affected by loved ones' substance use, childhood/family trauma, workplace stressors, and those seeking purpose and meaning. My communication style I provide a safe, compassionate, nonjudgmental environment to process and explore, believing that everything you need to heal is already within you. My journey to therapy My journey and attraction to becoming a therapist stem from a desire to engage in deeper meaningful work, to aid in healing and enhancing love and compassion toward self and others, and to be part of the healing journey through a safe relational experience. I also have a passion for understanding the impact, neurobiology, and effects of trauma on individuals and communities-and how to heal and thrive both individually and collectively.
