Hi there. My name is Mailyn Paredes, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Barry University. I use an eclectic approach to treat a variety of symptoms, including depression, anxiety, personality disorders, LGBTQIA issues, marriage/couples, and family counseling. I work with an array of therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, Gottman Method, Attachment Theory, Grief Counseling, Motivational Interviewing, Couples, and Family Counseling, among others. During our first session, I use a lot of motivational interviewing to complete a comprehensive psychosocial assessment.
