Using a strength perspective model and client/therapist collaborative approach, sessions are geared towards individuals’ goals regarding specific mental health needs. My approach Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Task-Centered Approach is my approach to assist you with learning how to reshape negative thinking patterns and address the specific issues identified to resolve. The type of approaches provides you with the ability to feel empowered to take control of situations and gain the confidence needed to manage undesirable behaviors and emotions. Working in a collaborative partnership, the primary goal will be to give you the tools you need to improve your overall well-being. My focus Are you finding yourself struggling with some emotions and feelings that you feel you can’t manage? I have been working with young and older adults who needed support in dealing with anxiety, depression, poor self-esteem, and trauma. Through planning, we will develop goals that will foster an opportunity for growth and overall well-being. My communication style Fostering an environment that is supportive, nurturing, and honest is the intention for each session. Sharing thoughts and feelings is welcome and valuable. I practice empathic listening while giving you an opportunity to express and explore your strengths.
