Malory Lee, LCSW

Malory Lee, LCSW

Psychotherapist
TX
I am a licensed clinical social worker with a Master in Social Work from the University of Chicago and experience in acute and outpatient psychiatric settings, oncology, and palliative care. I have worked with individuals facing a variety of stressors, including grief and loss, life transitions, trauma, mental health concerns, terminal illness, and medical crises. As a therapist, I prioritize establishing a safe space where individuals feel heard and can be their authentic selves. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I enter each relationship with an open, non-judgmental perspective and the goal of building on the unique strengths each client brings. I draw from various clinical interventions to tailor my care to the needs of each individual. My approach is grounded in principles of trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy. I enjoy helping people find new skills to cope with life’s challenges, break out of unhelpful behavior patterns, and practice acceptance. Reaching out for support can be the most important thing we do to take care of ourselves. I recognize the courage and vulnerability needed to do so, and I am grateful for the opportunity to support people on this journey.
