Therapy offers a safe space for you to understand and overcome challenges from the past or present.
I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Sacramento. I have worked with individuals, couples, families, and groups as an Applied Behavioral Therapist specializing in Autism, as well as a Marriage and Family Therapist. My experience includes roles at the YMCA, SDUSD, and more recently, my own private practice.
I have specific experience supporting individuals, couples, and families facing LGBT issues and trauma. In my practice, I am affirming of people of all backgrounds, gender identities, and sexual orientations. Everyone is unique; I strive to identify the specific factors that foster growth for each of us as individuals.
Together, we will use various therapeutic approaches including Family Systems, Gottman Method, Attachment Theory, and Mindfulness to best meet your needs. My aim is always to provide a holistic and integrative approach because I believe there is no one-size-fits-all formula to address your unique history, personality, and concerns.
