My focus His calling is to specialize in treating clients from who have struggled with issues related to cultural diversity and who have suffered from trauma while growing up. Hence, there can be no one approach to therapy which works for everyone. My communication style His communication style is open and direct. He encourages client's to engage with him and to not hold back. My journey to mental healthcare He worked as a software engineer for thirteen years until he lost his job in the Great Recession. After six months of no work, he enrolled at Antioch University. While it was difficult getting his clinical hours working in some of the most challenging settings, it was a valuable experience for him. My goals for you Like an acorn which grows into an oak tree, human beings will naturally develop under the right conditions. But obstacles can get in the way which prevent individuals from reaching their full potential. By removing such obstacles, a better quality of life can be achieved. While challenges are unavoidable, they can be managed more effectively. Our first session An understanding of what made the client seek out therapy as well as what the client would like to accomplish in therapy will be discussed. Background information about the client will be useful to get to know the client better. The client is also more than welcome to ask questions.
