I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience working with children, youth, and families. I have experience in a child welfare setting and a clinical mental health setting. I look forward to working with you and assisting you with accomplishing your therapeutic goals. My approach My approach is strength-based and person-focused. Let us work together to find the strengths you may not know you have and use them to attack the problems you have identified. My focus I look for potential clients who are motivated to solve their problems. I also look for clients who understand that therapy is not a "band-aid" that "fixes" everything. I am a tool for you to use to work on the issues you have identified as problems. The real work comes from within, and I am here to help you work through that process. My communication style I have an open communication style. I don't like to bog clients with clinical jargon. I will speak to you and meet you at the level you are at, and we will work from there. Don't be afraid to voice your opinion and let me know if things are not working for you. I am a professional; you will not hurt my feelings. Communication is key, and let us keep that in mind so we can trust each other in this therapeutic relationship. My journey to mental healthcare I have always thought about providing therapy on a platform like this, but never thought I'd have the time or resources to do so. I have realized that just like the clients that use these platforms, I have to make the time. So here I am.
