Margaret de Lima Hering, LCSW

Psychotherapist
CA
Do you find yourself overwhelmed emotionally, feeling persistently down or sad, stressed frequently, or worrying constantly? Are these experiences robbing you of peace and tranquility, leaving you falling short of happiness and joy in life, or making it hard to go about your day? Together, we will gain insight into these issues and develop concrete skills to cope in a self-empowering way so that you can achieve what you want in life, work, and relationships. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of Michigan and show up to our sessions fully present, with curiosity and a non-judgmental presence. I integrate mindfulness practice as well as a cognitive approach to teach effective, life-changing skills. I understand that starting therapy can feel scary or overwhelming. I get this and will provide a safe, comfortable space for you to ease into your therapy experience, bringing in humor, compassion, and unconditionality. Take the first brave step and contact me.

In-network insurances

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
