Hi there, I'm Maria! Maria G. Alcaraz, LMFT, graduated from Alliant International University with a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy, accredited by the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. My goal is to help my clients move toward a hopeful, balanced future and regain a sense of normalcy. My approach I utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. My focus I work with transitional-aged youth (16-25) and adults facing life difficulties, including but not limited to stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family problems, and trauma. My communication style Clients describe me as warm, safe, compassionate, real, and non-judgmental. My journey to therapy I enjoy helping people overcome many life challenges. My goals for you I believe everyone is resilient. My goal is to support you in moving toward a hopeful, balanced future and regaining a sense of normalcy. My first session with you The first session includes a psychosocial assessment and mental health questionnaires to better guide your treatment. We will also discuss your treatment goals.
