I hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from San Diego State University. I specialize in working with families and individuals, using an attachment-based approach that focuses on creating a safe and non-judgmental space. One of my passions is supporting clients in recognizing the beauty and strength within themselves. My approach I would describe my approach as eclectic, tailoring my specific tools to the needs of the clients and families I work with. Some modalities I use in therapy include attachment-focused therapy, play therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. When working with clients, I focus on the strengths that already exist within every individual. My focus I typically work with families with children of all ages and those adjusting to life transitions. Additionally, I support individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, or difficulty meeting their goals. My communication style My communication style is warm, down-to-earth, and friendly. Clients working with me will find both a safe space and an environment that encourages growth and change. When working with families, I aim to connect with all members and ensure each person's voice is heard. My journey to therapy My own life experiences inspired me to support people in finding their inner strength. From an early age, I knew I wanted to make a difference in people's lives. Growing up with challenges, I wanted to be the support I wished my family had. I find it an honor to do this work and am constantly in awe of the resilience in every client I work with.
