Hello and Welcome,
I am Maria Daly, a skilled therapist licensed to serve clients who are residents of Illinois. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Fordham University. Over the past nine years, I have counseled adults coping with grief, depression, anxiety, trauma, aging, LGBTQ+ issues, and other challenges.
My approach to therapy is integrative, collaborative, and patient. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to explore their experiences and discuss the issues they face. I meet my clients where they are in life and work interactively to set therapy goals. Together, we aim for healing, acceptance, or whatever outcome promotes a happier and healthier functioning life.

What should a new client know about working with you?
I believe that having an understanding of why we suffer emotionally is important to the processing of our past and present experiences. Therefore, in guiding clients (you) with education, and then building on that knowledge, helps to promote psychological growth and mastery of your own life.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
