“I’ve had therapists who have validated my experiences growing up but they only place the responsibility on other people for their behaviors. Maria is also very validating but focuses on how YOU can make a change and protect yourself when encountering people or situations who can cause distress. She asks the tough questions and pushes you to view things from a different perspective and how you can change your actions in situations because we can’t control how other people react. I’ve had a lot of epiphanies with Maria and she has helped me understand the true roots of my emotions and thoughts.”
