Maria’s experience has been focused on counseling clients who have symptoms of trauma related to adverse childhood experiences such as domestic violence, sexual abuse, family separations/loss, etc. Maria has extensive history conducting evaluation assessments and treatment plans. Maria has experience screening for suicide risk and child abuse. Maria has a certification in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and has been trained in Eye Movement Desensitizing and Reprocessing (EMDR), both evidence-based treatment modalities for trauma.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim.
