Hello, and welcome. Soy una terapeuta de salud mental bilingüe (inglés/español). I've been working to help children and families in various roles for 10 years. It is an honor for me to translate that experience into the mental health field. I hold an MEd in Mental Health Counseling from Hunter College, City University of New York. I have worked with various populations to help by listening, offering feedback, and helping them discover a deeper understanding of their emotional wellbeing. Are you feeling hurt, depressed, or anxious? Do you feel trapped in abusive relationships, complicated family dynamics, addiction, or trauma? Are you torn between choices, feeling alone, or struggling with grief and loss?
What should a new client know about working with you?
Mi experiencia incluye trabajar con varios problemas de salud mental. I can help to identify goals, plan to reach them, and make changes. I believe that therapy requires an approach in which people are seen and heard for who they are, and I adjust my treatment approach to what you need, and help in a way that works best for YOU. We all have the capacity to grow and find healthier ways to navigate life.
The practice will send you an email to complete intake via Simple Practice. The Intake form must be filled out completely prior to your appointment and a credit card must be provided as per the practice’s cancellation policy (cancellations must be made before 24 hours of the appointment).
Also, there are no psychiatrists or other providers who prescribe medications at this practice.
