Hello! My name is Maria Lopez, and I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from California State University, Fullerton. I am committed to helping you along your journey whether you’re feeling anxious, worried, stressed, or having problems in your relationships with others. As a devoted therapist, I bring 9 years of experience working with individuals who experience anxiety, social anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, stress, and adjustment issues. As your therapist, I will hold a safe space for you to work on those obstacles that are holding you back. My therapeutic style is understanding and non-judgmental. I believe in meeting clients where they’re at and with the belief that every client wants to self-actualize. I specialize in working with teens and young adults struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship problems, and life transitions.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
