Do you need someone who will help guide you out of dark places? Do you feel stuck? Is anxiety, depression, hard life situations, or trauma weighing you down? Do you just need to be heard? Life can be overwhelming and unclear, but I can help see you through it! I provide a safe, empathic, non-judgmental atmosphere for self-discovery and healing. Whatever therapy means for you or wherever you are on your journey, I will support you by meeting you where you are, and then we can go from there. I believe strongly in the growth and healing potential of people, no matter how long they have struggled. My commitment as your therapist is to work with you to accomplish your therapy goals. My role is to help you gain insight and coping strategies, develop healthy relationship dynamics, and take hold of your inner strength to move forward from stuck places. I will guide you to identify how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected so that you can have a new level of awareness, respond appropriately in challenging situations, and move toward the life you have been wanting. My experience comes from working with a range of individuals in private and hospital settings, schools, and residential and outpatient centers. As a counselor, I help children, teens, and adults using a person-centered approach, CBT, and DBT techniques. I hold a Master's in Professional Counseling and a Master's in School Counseling from Amberton University, and a Bachelor's degree from the University of North Texas. There is hope, and I'm here to help see you through your challenges. Everyone is welcome, and I would be honored if you would ask me to help you move forward.
