Maribel Orozco, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
Everyone's life journey is different. I am here to help you continue to be the best version of yourself through healing and acceptance. I am a bilingual therapist who cares deeply about providing a safe space to empower mental health and wellness in BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and people of color) and all communities. My primary approach is person-centered, allowing you to guide the way through your life journey and needs. Much of my experience is working with adolescents, families, individuals, and the Latinx community, addressing relationship issues, depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, ADHD, and stress management. I have worked in community settings, schools, and telehealth. I hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Palo Alto University, which has equipped me with the skills to support diverse clients effectively. As a therapist, my goal is to ensure that my clients feel safe, empowered, and supported. I am flexible to your needs as we work collaboratively to help you reach your goals. Together, we will get curious about your thoughts, beliefs, behaviors, feelings, and how they affect your life and relationships. If you're looking to make some changes in your life, therapy is the perfect place to start.

What should a new client know about working with you?

After our initial session, you will develop an identifiable goal that you would like to work on and achieve in therapy. After our first session together, I hope that you walk away with a sense of hope, and understanding that you already took a major step towards improved well-being. In our follow up sessions, I will continue to learn more about you, what you want to get out of therapy, and how we can work together towards achieving your goals.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
