Hi there, I'm Maricela! My name is Maricela Diaz; I am an LMFT and an LPCC. I enjoy working with people who are going through challenges and need some guidance in a therapeutic way. I earned my Master's in Counseling from California State University, Los Angeles. My approach I use CBT therapy, a strengths-based approach, career counseling, and come from a faith-based perspective. My focus I work with individuals, couples, and families. I like to work with teenagers, adults, and seniors. My communication style People have told me that I help them be challenged and step out of their comfort zone. But most importantly, I want them to be able to accomplish things at their own pace. My journey to mental healthcare I have been through many challenges in my life, and I bring a lot of experience, knowledge, and understanding that can help others on their journey to be in a better place themselves. My goals for you I like to invite clients to set up their goals with me. I offer reflection on what is a priority for them in their lives, along with my recommendations and suggestions. My first session with you Clients should expect a warm, understanding, empathetic therapist who is willing to listen, guide, and support them on their journey.
