Marina Livis, LCSW

Psychotherapist
FL
Hi there, I'm Marina! My name is Marina Livis, and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in West Palm Beach, FL, working with clients statewide via telehealth. I earned my Master's in Social Work from Rutgers University. As a neurodivergent therapist, I specialize in helping adults with anxiety, depression, stress management, PTSD, and ASD, using evidence-based approaches including EMDR, EFT tapping, mindfulness meditation practices, cognitive behavioral therapy, and clinical hypnotherapy. My approach My therapy is trauma-informed and focuses primarily on EFT tapping, mindfulness training, and EMDR for clients who have experienced traumatic events and seek not just symptom relief but also a shift in their core beliefs. For those open to it, I also incorporate hypnotherapy to identify and change subconscious blocks. My focus I have found that my style and approach best fit adults who have a high motivation for change, appreciate more directive therapy rather than traditional talk therapy, and are looking for a neurodivergent therapist with a similar mindset. The conditions I have successfully treated include anxiety, depression, stress, and PTSD. I am also a good fit for parents of adult children with ASD/autism spectrum disorder and am effective at helping them support their child better. My communication style Clients often tell me I have a peaceful and calming presence. My communication style is direct, empathetic, and friendly. Clients feel at ease speaking with me and appreciate that I use appropriate self-disclosure to share my holistic healing journey with mental health. Many have shared that they value my authenticity. My journey to mental healthcare Throughout childhood, adolescence, and young adulthood, I struggled with anxiety and depression.
