Psychotherapist
FL
I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor with years of experience helping people struggling with anxiety, PTSD, depression, and trauma break free from their past and silence the noise around them so they can go from surviving to thriving. I earned my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Nova University and my Bachelor’s from Queens College, City University of New York. My goal for my clients is to inspire them to overcome challenges, develop resilience, and reclaim peace in their lives. My approach to therapy varies according to each client’s individual needs and goals. I mainly utilize a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach to help change thinking patterns and behaviors that no longer serve a purpose. In addition to CBT, I incorporate other treatment modalities and interventions to help my clients reach their full potential and achieve the goals they have set for themselves. I specialize in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and trauma. I also have expertise in addiction and substance misuse, addictive behaviors and tendencies, self-esteem issues, co-dependency, and relationship difficulties. I enjoy working with clients who are motivated and committed to change, ready to develop personal growth, and willing to lean into discomfort along their healing journey. My communication style is personable, approachable, empathetic, and honest. I take pride in providing a space where clients can unravel their most intimate thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment. My own personal struggles inspired my path to becoming a therapist. I have always wanted to be that person and outlet for someone else—to show them that there is someone who believes in them and cares deeply. My greatest passion is helping people see themselves blossom into someone they never thought possible or helping them move past challenges that once seemed too hard to face. Together, we can shine light where it feels dark.
