Getting to know Marjorie Gentry

I have been a Social Worker for 20 years, dedicated to helping people overcome a wide range of challenges that affect their ability to thrive in life. If you feel sad, depressed, anxious, angry, out of place, or are facing parenting difficulties, career challenges, or transitions that leave you questioning who you are, let's talk. If you have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse, I will help you regain your strength and move toward a better place. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the State University of New York, Buffalo. My counseling style is conversational and interactive. I will help you discover the answers you need to improve your life and how you feel about yourself. I believe in treating everyone with kindness, respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach combines many styles, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. Together, we will plan treatment tailored to your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to look honestly at yourself and make the changes necessary for a happier, more fulfilling life. I will support and empower you to follow the path you choose toward the goals you have always wanted. Let's talk!

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
