Getting to know Mark Gough

My practice over the past 25 years as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) has allowed me to help people of diverse backgrounds overcome a variety of life's challenges. I earned my Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, which provided a strong foundation for my work. I help people by meeting with them, learning about their problems, and discovering ways for them to feel more at ease. The most common issues I address involve moods?such as sadness, worrying, anger, or stress?and relationship difficulties. All types of people come to see me; people just like you who have hit a bump in the road and want to help themselves feel better again. I've focused on adults, couples, and adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, controlling anger, family conflict, substance abuse, and behavioral issues.

What should a new client know about working with you?

We'll develop tools that you can use to address many types of challenges that may come your way, even long after we've concluded our work together. "If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach him to fish, you feed him for a lifetime."

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
