I have worked with individuals, couples, and families seeking counseling for over 18 years, both online and in person. My approach My approach is person-centered, and I collaborate with clients to identify which issues matter most to them and which they would like to address first. Part of my commitment to clients is to listen mindfully with acceptance and compassion. I take a holistic approach and integrate theoretical methods such as Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Humanistic/Existential, and Narrative Therapy. I view the client as a whole person and believe in addressing all aspects of their experience. My focus Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals, groups, couples, and families, primarily focusing on moderate to severe mental health issues including Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, Trauma, and Stress-related concerns. I also spent three years specializing in substance use disorders, many of which involved co-occurring severe mental health conditions such as dissociative and thought disorders. Currently, I enjoy working one-on-one with individuals via telehealth. My communication style In therapy sessions, I strive to create a comfortable and safe environment. As we talk, I observe and ask questions, helping clients discover insights they may not be aware of or may have forgotten. I am committed to teaching skills that improve functioning and reduce worry, sadness, and stress. My journey to mental healthcare I have always been curious and inspired by the stories of others, recognizing that many are filled with suffering. This has fueled my dedication to supporting people through their healing journeys.
