Getting to know Marni Ledwitz

Is your anxiety stopping you from shifting into solution mode? Is your "bark back" anger making your relationships worse instead of better? Is your depressive energy stopping you from even doing the fun stuff? Congrats. You being here means you’re halfway outta there! You don’t have to go through life’s difficult moments alone. I’ve been a Licensed Psychotherapist since 1997, promoted through community mental health to in- and outpatient treatment facilities for impaired physicians before opening my private practice. Providing career aptitude batteries for C-level team building and college students showed me that peak performance habits can help anyone at any stage. When motherhood and life stressors transitioned me from my private practice, I continued bringing families and opposing parties together in their new real estate chapters. I hold a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Georgia State University and am a holistic provider of teletherapy to Georgia and soon Florida individuals, couples, and families. I specialize in young adults navigating life or vocational transitions, empty nesters, and people juggling aging parents and their children’s needs (the sandwich generation), substance recovery, career assessment, and peak performance.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Marni is positive, uplifting, and realistic. She helps motivate me to grow.
She is not afraid to tell us the truth about what each of us needs to do to make our relationship work!
I am grieving the loss of my husband and Marni is very understanding and compassionate. I feel like she will be able to help me navigate the grieving process.
Talking about communication and how I struggle with getting anything out. She helped figure out why on a surface level which was great. She was really sweet, interested in what I had to say, overall had a great first session with her!
This was our first time meeting and Marni was very caring, she asked great question and listen very well to my issues and back story. She gave me great insight and positive perspective. Marni was also able to accommodate me and my husband for couple's therapy. I look forward to our next appointment.
My experience has been wonderful. I have made progress in many areas with the kind support and thoughtful tools even in the first few sessions of therapy. She has been patient, kept me on track of my goals, and allowed me move at my own pace. I think anyone would benefit greatly from an experienced therapist like Marni Ledwitz.
If you’re looking for a therapist that will teach you how to cope with what life throws at you, you need Dr. Ledwitz. I’ve been to therapy before, but seemed to revert back to my anxious self as soon as I walked out the therapist doors. Thankfully, that has not been the case after working with Dr. Ledwitz. She is very good at finding her clients root issues then suggests ways to move past or cope. She will often provide “homework” which means she will end the therapy session with goals to practice (coping mechanisms or reframing your internal dialogue) before you meet for the next time. It’s always good to come back to the next visit and talk through what worked and what didn’t. I have seen significant improvement since working with Dr.Ledwitz.
