I hold a Master of Science in Community Counseling and a Master of Divinity with a concentration in pastoral counseling from Mercer University. Additionally, I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Sociology from Georgia State University. Currently, I am pursuing my doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision at Walden University. My approach to therapy is holistic and client-centered, focusing on the unique needs and strengths of each individual. As a brainspotting practitioner, I utilize this powerful technique to help clients process and release deep-seated emotional pain. In addition to my clinical work, I am an author, an approved clinical supervisor, a nationally certified counselor, a board-certified tele-mental health counselor, and a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor. I also serve as a professor at Naropa University, where I am dedicated to training the next generation of counselors. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy exploring new cultures and integrating diverse perspectives into my practice.
