Psychotherapist

Hi! My name is Marta, Why just survive when we can thrive? This is the question we need to ask ourselves when thinking about starting therapy. I have dedicated my career to helping answer this question, with over six years of experience working within a variety of specialties and populations. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Roosevelt University. I have worked extensively with individuals struggling with relationship dissatisfaction and other relational issues, depression, anxiety, anger and emotion management, emotional eating, panic attacks, trauma, struggles with self-esteem, stress management and burnout, difficulties with parenting or co-parenting, career-related hurdles and work dissatisfaction, adult ADHD, OCD, and intrusive thoughts. I work with adults trying to navigate life's hurdles and am very well versed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, along with a variety of other methods, therapies, and techniques to help you achieve your goals. I take a creative and holistic approach to treatment to make sure we nourish our mind-body connection and cater to each individual client's needs using a client-centered approach in addition to other techniques. My focus is on personal fulfillment, growth, and change, and I am also a huge advocate for self-care. Whether you're dealing with overwhelming emotions, a lack of balance, relationship issues, or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help. It can be hard to ask for support and even more difficult to open up to someone new, and this is a great first step! Together, we can work towards finding the root of your struggles and move toward cultivating a full and abundant life. So now we ask, are we ready to thrive?

What should a new client know about working with you?

During our first meeting we will spend a bit of time getting to know each other, answering any questions, and creating a list of goals that will help us monitor progress going forward, and then we will jump right in! Every so often we will do a quick review of our goals to stay on track, and we can always make adjustments as we see fit. From each subsequent session we can expect a fair amount of skill building in addition to traditional talk therapy.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
