Martha Castillo is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her graduate degree in 2010 from Pacific Oaks College with a specialization in the Latino Community.
Martha has experience working with diverse individuals, children and families dealing with a wide range of symptoms including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, mood disorders, grief and loss, communication issues, behavioral issues, attachment issues, acculturation and self-esteem.
Martha is also bilingual (English-Spanish) able to provide therapy in the language of the patient’s preference, which helps to foster a strong collaborative relationship promoting the development of healthier coping skills. Martha is trained in Trauma Focus-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which assists in having a client-centered and trauma-informed approach that consistently empowers patients towards recovery from stressful and traumatic events.
