I also use CBT to help you change thought patterns. My focus The clients that I work with have many different issues. I have a passion for helping people overcome trauma. Along with trauma and PTSD, I have worked with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and Borderline Personality Disorder. My communication style My communication is based on creating a relaxed, calm atmosphere where there can be meaningful dialogue. We will establish goals for your counseling that are unique to you and will assist in the journey. My journey to mental healthcare My journey in counseling began with a curiosity of trauma and how it impacts people. I wanted to study a way of helping to heal trauma, depression, anxiety, and Bipolar Disorder. During my graduate degree, I had the experience of working with people who suffer from many issues. As I became more experienced, I trained in EMDR as a self-evident technique to help people overcome the issues they are experiencing. My goals for you Therapy goals are part of the treatment process. Treatment goals are defined during the intake process. They can be updated or changed throughout the counseling sessions. Each treatment goal is collaboratively set between the therapist and the individual.
