My name is Martha Munoz, and I have Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Maryland University College and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University. I am bilingual in Spanish and English and my experience includes working with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, military service members, retirees and military dependents with depression, PTSD, trauma, anxiety, substance use disorder, LGBTQ issues, grief and loss and other mental health issues in inpatient and outpatient settings. My approach to therapy is to provide safe environment in support of clients individual needs. I believe life is a journey of changes and obstacles that can overwhelm us at times, leaving us feeling alone and scared. But with support, acceptance and understanding, we can learn to navigate and overcome those changes and obstacles towards growth and emotional wellbeing. I am here to help you.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
