Getting to know Mary Brooks

"Hello, I'm Imani, and I'm honored to be part of your journey towards a better life. As Albert Einstein once said, 'The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking.' This quote resonates deeply with me and forms the foundation of my therapeutic philosophy. I believe that by changing our thinking, we can transform our lives, and I'm here to help you uncover the patterns that may be holding you back. With a background as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (MSW), I have had the privilege of working with individuals at various stages of their lives. My specialties include addressing anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, family relationships, life transitions, spirituality, stress, addiction, eating disorders, military and veteran support, anger management, ADHD, grief and bereavement, LGBTQIA+ support, PTSD, and intimate and romantic relationships. Whether you're dealing with substance abuse, parenting challenges, behavioral issues, mood disorders, or forensic/correctional rehabilitation needs, I'm here to support you. My therapeutic approach is multifaceted and tailored to meet you where you are. I utilize individual, family, and couples psychotherapy to help you find balance, confidence, and joy. Together, we will build insight and implement cognitive and/or behavioral strategies within a collaborative and compassionate relationship. I believe in the power of acceptance and mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, meditation, and other holistic approaches to the healing process. Working with me means embarking on a journey of self-discovery and growth. We will create a personalized treatment plan that addresses your mind, body, and soul, helping you find the balance and confidence you seek. I am committed to providing a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment.

Provider canceled two appointments for her personal schedule needs. No regard for patient or the booking process/platform. Unprofessional.
I did not find this provider to be very professional. We spoke over the phone for only a few minutes and I didn’t find her very compassionate or welcoming.
