I’m Angie McGukin, and I’m excited to share a bit about myself and how I can support you on your journey. With a Master of Divinity degree (MDIV) specializing in psychology and counseling, and 16 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) serving clients in the state of Georgia, I’m here to offer a unique blend of Christian counseling and professional expertise. Through modalities such as Trauma Resolution Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), as well as basic skill-building for healthier emotional management, I aim to help my clients systematically address current stressors and/or historical or current trauma. I have a particular expertise in trauma counseling and bring a compassionate, faith-informed approach to healing and restoration. While I offer Christian counseling for those seeking spiritually integrated care, individuals who do not practice the Christian faith are equally welcome and will receive respectful, supportive, and professional care. I also carry a strong desire to support ministers, business leaders and other therapists as they navigate the unique challenges of serving others. While I find great purpose in walking alongside those in ministry and other care professions, my services are available to anyone seeking biblically grounded support.
