Mary is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and a Clinical Supervisor. She earned her Master's in Counseling from Catholic University and has post-graduate training in Family Systems Therapy, Imago Couples Therapy, and Experiential and Drama Group Therapy. Mary has many years of experience, including working in education and private practice, running groups, and collaborating with Dominion Psychiatric Hospital and a non-profit Community Health Center. She believes in the strength and support of family and community systems and integrates her care with support groups such as AA, Al-Anon, SA, and S-Anon. Mary is also an advocate for stronger mental health programs for youth in schools. In her work with clients, she focuses on what the client wants out of therapy and tailors her skill set toward their goals. She strives to work as efficiently as possible to provide relief and refers for medication when necessary.
