My name is Marybeth Santoro. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Georgia. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Valdosta State University and my Master's in Counseling from Argosy University in Atlanta. I have 11 years of experience helping clients with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, self-esteem, co-dependency, stress, and many other mental health issues.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Our first sessions together will be focused on building a positive and trusting professional relationship. We will get to know one another and I may initially gather some information about your history and what goals you have for yourself within the therapeutic process. As our working relationship progresses, I hope our sessions will serve as a release and reprieve from your daily obligations and stresses. I aim to provide a nonjudgmental and supportive environment in which you can explore and deepen your relationship with yourself, stretch your self-awareness, and release shame.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
