My name is Masha and I am a Clinical Social Work Associate (CSWA) with a bachelor's and master's in Social Work from Portland State University. My journey in this field began as an advocate and community educator working with survivors of interpersonal violence, and I have spent the last 8 years working with children, adolescents, and families in a variety of clinical and community settings. It is my goal to offer a space of respect and safety by being transparent, non-judgmental, and direct. Therapy sessions can be a place to process and talk about the past and our emotions; they can also be a place to gain insight into core beliefs, notice and change thought patterns, recognize themes between feelings, thoughts, and behaviors, and learn new skills for coping, communication, emotional regulation, and many other stressors. I am passionate about working with individuals and families using a collaborative, strength-based approach.
