Getting to know Matthew Bradley

I am licensed independent social worker in the state of Ohio with a supervisory designation (LISW-S). I began working with the severe and mentally ill population within a homeless shelter at age 21. I discovered a love for helping and decided to pursue a career as a clinical psychotherapist. I obtained a degree from the University of Toledo with Master of Social Work, specializing in clinical mental health and a minor in psychology. Throughout the years I have gained experience working in a variety of setting addressing mental health. Rather you are struggling with a new mental health concerns or its been a life long struggle; I will ensure there is a safe space to discuss any problems in a judgement free zone. I will utilize a variety of approaches to empower you with tools needed to take significant life steps, to reach a goal you desire.

What should a new client know about working with you?

During the first session we will work together utilizing systems theory, and cognitive behavior theory to outline the presenting concern. Throughout the session we will develop a focus on core issues contributing to the identified concern. After the first session, you should have a clearer understanding of what factors are contributing to the presenting issue and possible major contributors. As we continue to work together during the session an individualized treatment plan will begin to develop that addresses the specific needs identified.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Matt has a good balance of listening to your background and then deciding on a course of mental exercises and growth plan that is applicable to you. He is good at pushing you to grow but at a reasonable pace.

My husband and I felt heard and we both left feeling confident and hopeful that Matthew can steer us in the right direction. Matthew was clear, already felt like he had a general direction he wanted us to go in, and we both felt that he is going to challenge and push us and more importantly hold the both of us accountable. We are very excited for our next appointment and eager to work with him.
