Getting to know Maudlyn Howell Nwaogwugwu
I earned my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Alliance University (formerly NYACK Alliance Graduate School of Counseling) in 2005. In 1997, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Sociology from Lehman College.
As a licensed professional in psycho-socio counseling, I provide counseling across various categories, employing multiple disciplines in psychology, including Psychoanalysis and Psychodynamic therapies, Behavior therapy, Cognitive therapy, EMDR, Trauma-Informed Care, Humanistic therapy, and primarily Integrative or Holistic therapy. I have more than eight years of direct counseling experience across several treatment settings, including inpatient mental health counseling, substance abuse counseling and case management, at-home care counseling, along with my interim private counseling practices.
I am the founder, director, and CEO of Enduo Christian Counseling Ministry. I provide treatment services to adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups from diverse backgrounds. I am an advocate for resolution and reconciliation, encouraging counseling strategies that focus on “resolution” for anger and stress rather than simply “management” of anger and stress.

Should you elect to utilize health insurance for services received, be aware that often insurance and managed care companies require information regarding diagnosis, symptoms, treatment goals, and prognosis about the 3 insured before reimbursement is ever considered by them. Such companies may also request a copy of your records. When utilizing faxes, electronic communication devices and web-based records management systems, there is always a level of vulnerability that may not be preventable despite all safeguards that have been put in place.
You will be expected to pay for each session at the time it is held, unless we agree otherwise or unless you have insurance coverage that requires another arrangement. If your account has not been paid for more than 60 days and arrangements for payment have not been agreed upon, I have the option of using legal means to secure the payment. This may involve hiring a collection agency or going through small claims court. [If such legal action is necessary, its costs will be included in the claim.] In most collection situations, the only information I will release regarding a client’s treatment is his/her name, the dates, times, and nature of services provided, and the amount due.
