The ebbs and flows of life are something we all experience. We flow toward our hopes and dreams, while other times we may flow away. When your life ebbs, it is like you are struggling against the current, fighting your way through to grasp what is important to you. Perhaps the times you are flowing away are a result of relationship concerns, addiction, past trauma, anxiety, or living with negativity. Like large rocks under the water, you may not be able to see them, but they create obstacles in achieving your goals while potentially impacting both your health and well-being. I believe that by taking this step in seeking help, you are interested in moving forward back to what is important to you. My role is to help you on your journey.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work from Norfolk State University and over 15 years of experience working as a mental health counselor as well as a social work educator, my intention is to provide a safe, secure, and supportive environment to address the concerns you may be experiencing that are getting in the way of living life in the way that is most beneficial to you.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
