Hi! I am a social worker with nearly ten years of experience in the community mental health world. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Simmons University. Whether this is all new to you or you are looking for a new approach, therapy is what you make of it, and I am happy to be there to support you along the way. I have a special place in my heart for working with older adults and their families, LGBTQ+ folks, and even people who aren’t really sure what they’re looking for. I’d love to help you figure out what’s next. Can’t wait to meet you!

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach typically is from a solutions-focused and strengths-based perspective, to help you take steps towards whatever goals you identify for yourself. If you are unsure about what direction you want to move in, I can help with figuring out what is next. There is no judgement, no pressure, my goal is only to help you get where you want to be.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I work with clients experiencing a range of life experiences. In our initial sessions we will discuss why you are seeking therapy, what has been useful or not so useful in the past, and how you feel most comfortable moving forward. We will define a goal and start identifying how to take steps in the right direction.
