Megan Schiloski, LMHC

Psychotherapist
MA
I’m a licensed mental health counselor based in Massachusetts. I offer collaborative, compassionate, and goal-oriented individual therapy for adults and adolescents (15+) dealing with anxiety, depression, substance use, low self-esteem, and other challenges. With over seven years of experience, I’ve worked with diverse populations across a range of settings, including inpatient and community care, with a strong focus on dual-diagnosis treatment. My approach My approach is trauma-informed, client-centered, and collaborative. I draw from CBT, DBT, ACT, narrative, somatic therapy, and motivational interviewing. Sessions are flexible yet focused, allowing for deep processing and practical tools. I use an eclectic approach overall, meaning I draw from different therapy methods based on what will work best for you. My focus I work with adolescents (15+) and adults who may have complex emotional histories or be navigating co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges. Many of the individuals I support are dealing with concerns like anxiety, depression, substance use, low self-esteem, and more. Some may appear high-functioning outwardly while feeling overwhelmed beneath the surface, while others are working hard just to get through the day. Many have tried therapy or treatment before and still feel like something’s missing or that they haven’t made the progress they were hoping for. They’re looking for more than just a space to vent. They’re seeking meaningful, lasting change. My communication style I focus on honest and open communication, creating a space that feels safe, comfortable, and supportive of each person’s individual needs. I approach everyone with curiosity and empathy, offering support and gentle challenges when needed to encourage growth and deeper self-exploration. If something isn’t working, I want clients to feel comfortable sharing that so we can make any changes together.
