Getting to know Megan Seliga

Hi! I have over ten years of experience working in varied settings with clients from diverse backgrounds. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and have extensive knowledge of psychodynamic therapy techniques, as well as formal training in DBT, EMDR, and Motivational Interviewing. I have also completed a certification in the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder and am passionate about promoting the inclusion of neurodiverse individuals in all facets of life, as well as supporting neurodiverse families. I appreciate the benefits of neuropsychologically informed treatment modalities, such as EMDR, and I have found psychoeducation related to structures of the brain, particularly those most impacted by trauma, to be a source of both hope and empowerment to clients. I believe trust and empathic listening are the elements of therapy most predictive of successful outcomes, and I pride myself on giving clients a space where they can truly feel heard.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
