Life can feel overwhelming sometimes. Maybe you're feeling anxious about work, struggling to understand or manage your emotions, or finding it difficult to communicate with the people who matter most. Maybe you're navigating changes in your relationships, parenting challenges, or a major life transition. Or maybe you simply need a safe place to talk with someone who will truly listen. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, but you don't have to have everything figured out before you reach out. If you're ready for support, I'd be honored to work with you as you navigate whatever life is bringing your way. Whatever brings you to therapy, you don't have to figure it all out on your own.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I've worked with many individuals who have felt stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of what to do next. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you can be yourself, explore what's getting in the way, and develop practical tools to help you move forward. Together, we'll identify patterns that may be keeping you from feeling like your most authentic self and work toward meaningful, lasting change. I have worked in the mental health field for more than 23 years, including experience as a licensed school counselor and within community mental health. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and I bring that experience into each therapeutic relationship.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), along with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness-based techniques. I believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative and tailored to you. Your goals, experiences, and strengths are at the center of our work together.
