If you’ve landed here, you’re likely carrying a lot and maybe you’re tired of pretending you’re fine when you’re really not. You don’t have to carry this alone. And, well, you probably want to figure out if I’m the right fit to support you through this process. I believe everyone is inherently born good and that change takes time. I’ve often heard the phrase, “Oh, [enter name here] we’ll never change,” and I understand why people think that. Change is incredibly hard. Our brains are wired for safety, and to the brain, familiar often feels safer than better. Sometimes that means we don’t get to see the change unfold ourselves, but I hold onto hope that people find their way when they’re ready. My career began in early childhood education, working in preschools from the age of 16. This sparked my passion for supporting children’s social and emotional development. I later volunteered at a sibling summer camp through a non-profit adoption agency, where they reunited siblings who were separated in the foster care system. This experience shaped the course of my career. Shortly after, I went from their volunteer to their employee, supporting adolescents in foster care. After completing my undergraduate degree, I joined AmeriCorps NCCC, where I served communities across the U.S. through disaster relief and social-emotional programming in underserved schools. When my AmeriCorps term ended, I returned to the adoption agency, this time working with kinship foster families. I provided trauma-informed caregiver support and advocated for families in courtrooms, Child and Family Team (CFT) meetings, and IEPs. While my heart will always be rooted in supporting youth in foster care, I knew I wanted to expand my clinical knowledge, which led me to pursue my MSW in Colorado. After graduate school, I worked in residential and PHP treatment settings, then transitioned into an outpatient group practice. Across these roles, I’ve facilitated therapy groups, supported parents through tr

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is warm but direct. I’ll always be in your corner, and I’ll gently call out patterns that might be repeating themselves. I’ll hold space for us to ‘talk it out’, but talking alone can be retriggering and keep us more stuck. That’s why I integrate mind-body work too, helping you tune into your body, regulate your nervous system, and build insight that goes beyond traditional talk therapy. In our work together, you can expect a mix of coping skills, somatic practices, thought-challenging techniques, and a place to explore your inner world, with a little laughter along the way. Therapy isn’t always easy, sometimes we’re facing parts of ourselves that feel really uncomfortable. But it can also be a place to get curious, reconnect, and maybe show me a TikTok or two when we need a break from the ‘work’. As a part of the queer and neurodivergent community, I am deeply affirming of these experiences and understand the challenges that can come with these identities.
