Getting to know Meghan Fawcett

I have worked as a counselor for the last 17 years and specialize in supporting those who are challenged by life changes. Whether you have experienced recent events that feel overwhelming, losses, or a sense that something is missing in your life, my goal as a therapist is to help you navigate the change process and find a space where you feel whole. I earned my Master's in Community Counseling from Youngstown State University, which has equipped me with the skills to provide compassionate and effective care. I am proud to be someone people say they feel comfortable talking to, and I have always taken a nonjudgmental approach to whatever someone needs to share. We are all unique and deserve an unbiased audience. Whether you are struggling in a relationship, facing addictive behaviors, challenged by mood changes, or simply unsure why you feel stuck, I would love the opportunity to work with you and support your movement toward personal goals.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Your first counseling session will involve the development of our relationship, where I will ask questions to understand your experiences, strengths, needs, and preferences for therapy. As therapy progresses beyond our initial sessions, we will work collaboratively toward achieving your personal goals. Each session is individualized and you can expect to leave with heightened awareness as to how you can work toward your goals between sessions.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
