Psychotherapist
MA
Hi, I'm Meghan. **Please note: At this time, I am offering short-term therapy through December 2023. This would make me a good fit for clients who are seeking short-term therapy, and/or who are open to beginning with a new therapist in a few months.** Do you feel overwhelmed with your career or personal life? Are you struggling to maintain your relationships, health, or obligations? Are you looking for a change in your life but not sure where to begin? I empower clients to manage anxiety and work through career, relationship, and life transitions or concerns. Together, we identify what's holding you back and get you back to a better place. I use a client-centered approach to target what feels most important to you and meet you where you're at each session. I also integrate coping strategies, calming techniques, and healthy habit-building into our work. I hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Harvard University, which informs my evidence-based approach to therapy. Whether you're dealing with stress, relationship or peer issues, or life and career concerns, I'm here to help. I strive to provide a safe space to process, heal, and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and proven techniques on this path. Let's work together!

What should a new client know about working with you?

In our early sessions, we will talk about what brings you to therapy and other relevant background information. We'll create goals together and map out a plan for how we're going to address them. As sessions progress, we'll use a collaborative process to address your needs. I use a client-centered approach where I follow your lead in terms of what you want to discuss and meet you where you are. Clients can expect a safe, empathetic, and confidential space to explore their thoughts and concerns. We will work to identify your strengths and work through challenges to create positive impact in your life. My goal with each session is to make you feel heard and validated, as well as to provide you with tools and knowledge to implement between sessions.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
