I specialize in anxiety, depression, and childhood trauma, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and attachment theory to improve clients' lives. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from California State University, San Marcos, which equipped me with the knowledge and skills to provide compassionate, evidence-based care. My approach to therapy is person-centered, allowing clients to lead therapy as they are the experts of their own lives. I also use research-based modalities including CBT, Trauma-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), attachment theory, and somatic interventions. I have experience working with children, adolescents, families, and adults. I am trained in treating depression, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, self-harm, stress management, anger issues, childhood trauma, grief, and behavioral problems. Additionally, I am trained in crisis intervention and suicide prevention. I strive to create a warm, calming, and accepting environment for each client. My goal is to provide a safe space where clients can explore their emotions, past experiences, and current challenges. I became a therapist because I am passionate about helping others who have experienced injustices, abuse, difficult times, or grief. Being a therapist is rewarding as I witness many people overcome challenges, heal, and succeed. When setting goals, I encourage clients to reflect on their situation and identify specific ways to improve or change. Together, we work toward meaningful growth and healing.
