What should a new client know about working with you?

Working with me is a mix of meaningful conversation, laughter when it helps, and real talk about what’s weighing you down. I’m not here to judge or fix you—I’m here to walk beside you as you figure things out, make sense of your story, and start feeling more like you. Most of my clients are high-achievers who are really good at holding it all together on the outside, but feel anxious, burnt out, or lost underneath. If that’s you, you’re not alone. Therapy with me is collaborative, grounded, and paced with care. I believe that healing happens in safe, attuned relationships—so I aim to show up with honesty, compassion, and the occasional sarcastic comment (if the moment calls for it). I’m trained in evidence-based practices like CBT and ART, but I also value intuition, curiosity, and what your body is trying to tell us. On a personal note: I know grief and trauma not just professionally, but in my own life. I’ve lost a brother to addiction and a father to cancer. These experiences continue to shape how I show up—with empathy, presence, and deep respect for the courage it takes to be here. Also, I will probably encourage you to go outside, stretch your body, or say “no” to something you hate. And yes, I think therapy can be sacred and hilarious.
